My passion is hiking. In winter preferably in a tent with a view to the Brocken. At least once a year my children (article hiking with children) are with me. The highlight is always the ride with the Brockenbahn and the steam locomotives entering the Schierker station.

Camping seems to be very popular. I prefer a good hotel with sauna in winter. In summer I like to go hiking. The hiking trail network in the Harz Mountains is simply huge, so you never get bored. As soon as there is snow, I am on the winter hiking trail or on the cross-country ski trail with my cross-country ski.

In summer I am hiking or on the trails with my mountainbike Mountainbike, in winter mostly for skiing or on snowshoes, I like to be at the open fireplace or at the campfire in all seasons.
